• Important Notices:
  1. 1. Friday October 13th, Yes Friday, Rain or Shine: There will be tables and chairs and we’ll plan for the rain. Picnic Agenda:
     

     Special Note: If you are on Campus in the evening, take a minute to view the Clock Tower, now illuminated from dusk until 11PM.

  • At 11:45AM the Thompson Hall Bell will ring for the first time since last March. This will be your call to the barbeque and food.
  • At Noon the Carillion will the Westminster Chimes followed by the twelve bells of noon.
  • While you enjoy your lunch, the Carillion will play songs and officially begin the new season of clock bells and daily music.
  • The clock will not be up and running on the 13th- Due to extensive repairs which required machining and retooling of parts, the clock will not be up and operational until October 26th or sooner if possible.
    
    
  2. Punch list items for interior Spaces: Interior Punch list items will be complete by Friday October 27th. Shawmut will continue to coordinate the work with building occupants to minimize disruptions.
  3. Window Punch list work will begin on the 18th, Joanne of Cheviot, the Window Installation Company will return to address any outstanding items.
  4. The Construction trailer will be leaving the site this Thursday 10/12. The fenced in area by the wall will remain as we continue work on the walks and punch list until Friday November 3rd.
  5. Concrete Walk replacement at the North Elevation will begin Monday October 16th through Wednesday October 25th. The work will be coordinated so that the North Entry doors remain open and accessible to the general public and building occupants.
  6. Stairwell Windows and Stain glass installation work is scheduled for Christmas Break. UNH has received generous donations from Shawmut and their subcontractors to install three of the six panels. More details to follow. (For those of you who might miss Shawmut around, they will be back at Christmas Time!)
• General News:
  1. The North Elevation Staging will begin coming down Wednesday October 11th and be completely down by Friday October 13th.
  2. There will be NO Weekend Work this weekend due to Home Coming.
• Project Work Sequence News:
  1. East Elevation: East Entry door and Awning System underway schedule to be complete and operational for the Public
  2. North Elevation Occupants (Main Street Side) – Mechanical work on the clock works progressing and scheduled to be complete Thursday October 26th. Bell restoration work is near completion. Porte Cochere Roof near complete. North Elevation Roof in Punch list Porte Cochere Copper Roof in detailing. Light Fixtures for Porte Cochere due this week. Clean up, landscaping and new concrete walks to follow.
